Une journé chez TANYA HEATH Paris dans le Marais - Tanya Heath Paris

Things to see and do when you visit the TANYA HEATH Paris pop-up in the Marias

A day in our neighborhood, the Marais Welcome to the Marais, my favorite neighborhood in Paris where history and shopping come together in an irresistible blend. Let me take you on a journey to discover some of my favorite spots because you really can make a day of it and this is a highly cultivated list as there is so much to see and do. I recommend starting your day by exploring the Maison de Victor Hugo, 6 Place des Vosges, (yes near Place des Vosges) a place that was once the home of this most famous and beloved politician and writer (2 million people showed up for his funeral), but did you know he was also a talented maximalist interior decorator, designing his own furniture and taking great care to personalize his space? Come and discover this lesser-known aspect of the author through his interior. Next, dive into Parisian history by visiting the Carnavalet Museum, 23 Rue de Sévigné, recently renovated and full of historical treasures. This museum, one of my favorites in the whole capital, transports you through the centuries of Paris with its fascinating collections. You might even recognize some of the floors that I use for Instagram photos! The National Archives, 60 rue des Francs Bourgeois, is an elegant must-see in my photos and I do photos here too. Better yet, its conveniently located right across from our boutique. Don't miss the Picasso Museum, 5 rue de Thorigny, where the works of the great master come to life in a fabulous setting. Picasso spent years in Paris, and his influence on the city and its artists is palpable. For a well-deserved lunch break, I highly recommend the Marché des Enfants Rouges, 39 rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris, the oldest covered market in the capital. Take a seat at one of the available tables and indulge in some fabulous fresh eats. And don't forget to spend at least half an hour at our boutique, 72 rue Vieille du Temple, to choose your first or next pair of shoes or heels.
